1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The KA type grinding and mixing combination is a combination of a high-performance hammer mill <strong><sup>4<\/sup><\/strong> and a vertical mixer<sup><em> <\/em><strong>5<\/strong><\/sup>. Both components can be started via the electrical control system<strong><sup> 1<\/sup><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>The material to be ground is fed via the large inlet hopper<strong><sup><em> 2<\/em><\/sup><\/strong>, either by hand or by any conveying system. The feed to the hammer mill can be adjusted continuously via a manual slide gate. The integrated magnetic separator <strong><sup>3<\/sup><\/strong> in the inlet captures metal parts that could damage the beaters and screens.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The ground product is conveyed directly from the hammer mill <sup><strong>4<\/strong>  <\/sup>into the mixer <strong><sup>5<\/sup><\/strong>, without any additional conveying system. Via the bottom intake <strong><sup>6<\/sup><\/strong>, additional products can be fed directly into the mixer <strong><sup>5<\/sup><\/strong>. A slide gate for sample taking <strong><sup>7<\/sup><\/strong> is also located here.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The mixing auger <strong><sup>8<\/sup><\/strong> ensures fast, high-quality mixing. After the mixing time has elapsed, the unit can be discharged via the side outlet <strong><sup>9<\/sup><\/strong> with a manual shut-off flap.
